Volunteer Newsletter October 2024

ESAC Volunteer Jo Owen was the recent winner of our volunteer membership drive competition!! She first started volunteering at the front desk several years ago and then added First Friday Art Walks and the gift shop to her volunteer resume. She now also enjoys helping take in art work on Change Out and Members Open Show days.

She really enjoys meeting all the people who visit and who want to be a part of this wonderful gallery and she enjoys encouraging them to become members. Jo came to us from Texas after she visited a former neighbor who had moved to Fairhope. She fell in love with our town and moved here in 2005.

Jo has taken pottery classes from numerous instructors at ESAC and is currently a student of Maria Spies. Jo loves the classes and how easy it is to make friends at ESAC!

Priscilla Royster, our new First Friday caterer, is always looking for a few helping hands for replenishing and staging!
