To any artist interested in creating graphic novels or comics, join me to learn about the story writing process as well as the process of turning that story into artwork. We will cover the process from brainstorming and script writing to paneling and coloring, and everyone will create a 4-6 page mini comic or first chapter of a graphic novel! Not only will you get your story started, but you will feel confident in the steps you need to complete to finish your story!
Supply list:
Sketchbook, art pens, pencils, and a ruler.
On top of this, you can bring any other supplies you would be interested in using to color your comic, such as markers or paints.
If you have access to a drawing tablet or iPad, you can bring that to use instead of a sketchbook, pens, and pencils, but if you choose this option, make sure you have drawing software downloaded on your device, such as Photoshop or Procreate. If you do not have access to any software, you can also try Krita to get you started, which is a free digital painting application.
