Overview
Being immersed in nature, capturing the sunlight, and using determined brushstrokes are all part of the Plein Air process. But…it can be a little daunting putting it all together. Join me on a fun excursion into creating work on location and learn some tricks and shortcuts to make it easier. I’ll be bringing all the supplies and we’ll be painting in oils because they are the easiest medium to paint with outside. Whether you are a beginner or just wanting to brush up on your plein air practice, this class will get you going.

A $75 fee will be charged for all workshop refunds due to a withdrawal. Refunds will be given up to one (1) month prior to the workshop start date. Thereafter, norefunds will be given, unless the ESAC cancels the workshop.
Robin Popp
Instructor
Born in south Florida, Robin has always had a love for sunshine and palm trees. Encouraged by a creative family, her love of art started as soon as she could hold a brush. She spent a short time at Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL, and earned a certificate as a cabinetmaker from Pinellas Technical College in Clearwater, FL. Combining her love for painting and for woodworking has been a challenge until recently when she began to cradle her paintings in wooden boxes. Now Robin has a painting studio and a woodworking studio on the thirteen acres in north Florida she shares with her husband. Their three grown children live with their families in three different directions of the compass.
