NEW Board Member Spotlight: Gia Wiggins
Dr. Gia Wiggins’ HR management career has spanned 25 years. A native of Mobile, AL, she received a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Grambling State University, an MBA from California State University, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration at the University of South Alabama with a concentration in Management. She also holds (SPHR) and (SHRM-SCP) human resources certifications. Gia has held human resource management roles in companies such as AT&T (Formerly Southwestern Bell), Cintas, Target, and BAE Systems Southeast Shipyards.

Gia has served on several committees and boards, including Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce (Board of Directors and Board of Advisors), Eastern Shore Chamber (Board of Directors and Leaders Council), Innovation Portal (Board of Directors), Executive Advisory Council for University of South Alabama’s Mitchell College of Business, University of South Alabama’s Alumni Board, Victory Health Partners Board of Directors, RAMP, Mobile Area Museum of Art Board of Directors and was the Vice President of Advocacy for the National Association of Women Business Owners Alabama Chapter.
Gia was honored among Focus Women‘s Conference 40 Women Over 40, Forbes Next 1000, and is an alumnus of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program. In 2021 she was named a Mitchell College of Business Alumni Fellow at the U of South Alabama. Gia is currently a member of Leadership Alabama’s Class XXIII.
In 2016, Gia founded Morale Resource LLC, a boutique human resources compliance consulting firm specializing in building and repairing human resources programs. In 2021, Gia founded Auditocity, a human resource compliance and best practice auditing software, adding tech founder to her growing portfolio.
Gia and Auditocity has been featured in Entrepreneur.com’s Real Entrepreneur series and was a panelist for Inc. Magazine’s Black Tech Week Founder House in 2022.
