All Across Alabama is a new art program for students across the state, made possible by the Alabama State Council on the Arts. Artist Lucy Gafford Kastrantas will guide students in an interactive drawing class. Students will create artwork inspired by the prompt “What makes Alabama great?” To culminate the All Across Alabama program, two artworks from every House district will be showcased at the State Capitol in April 2026.
Any students grades 3rd-5th are eligible. Participate in this FREE art class and your work may be showcased at the capital!
