Board Member Spotlight: Josh Rachal

Josh Rachal has been a Fairhope resident for over twenty six years. He graduated from Fairhope High School in 2002 and attended the University of Alabama graduating in 2007 with a Bachelors of Arts in Human and Environmental Studies. Upon graduation Josh moved back to Fairhope and began his career as a firefighter and retired as a Lieutenant in 2023.

He and his wife, Jenna, now own two event venues in Downtown Fairhope, The Balcony and The Venue Fairhope. Josh has two children, Maddie and Myers, who attend Bayside Academy and a third on the way.

As a proud Fairhopian, Josh is excited to be a part of the Eastern Shore Art Center Board and hopes to aid in the growth of the arts programs and its community outreach and involvement.
