Description
In this class we will practice the art of drawing in a creative environment. We will hone our drawing skills by studying value, form, perspective, and composition, as well as refining our technique, observation skills, and self expression. We will draw from life and reference. Mediums – graphite, charcoal, ink. *this is a companion class to Fundamentals of Drawing and Painting, either can be taken first.
We will start with a lecture, discussion, and technique demonstration, then students will complete studio work reinforcing the day’s subject. This class is open to all mediums. Learn the tools to master your craft!
Supply List
Drawing materials (pencils, erasers, etc)
Medium of choice (graphite, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel)
*works created in class will be treated as studies, not necessarily finished pieces; any medium the student chooses is fine.
REFUND POLICY
A $25 fee will be charged for all class refunds due to a withdrawal. Refunds will be given up to fourteen days prior to the FIRST DAY OF TERM CLASSES. Thereafter, no refunds will be given, unless the ESAC cancels the class.
