Smiling Faces
Nancy Raia and her delightful group of dedicated volunteers continued to spread joy across the Eastern Shore this month with visits to the William F. Green Veterans’ Home and The Haven. Residents of the veterans’ home enjoyed painting beautiful colorful beach scenes. Nancy was assisted by the family team of Alayna Brown with her mother Renee and her grandmother Gigi.
On this visit to the veterans’ home Nancy was honored with the “Serving Those Who Serve – Hero of the Month” Award. Congratulations Nancy! Volunteers transformed wooden benches donated by Old Thyme Feed and Garden Supply into colorful seating for The Haven. Renee Brown and her daughters Lauren and Alayna were there to help along with Nancy’s daughter Ashley Raia.
