SUPPLY LIST – WATERCOLOR
140 lb Hot or Cold press watercolor paper (I prefer Fabriano because of its whiteness, it lifts easily and I don’t have to stretch it.)
2″Flat watercolor brush for wetting paper
1 1/2″ Flat Wash brush (Grumbacher Golden Edge has an excellent spring)
#6 & #10 Loew-Cornelle #7020 Ultraround brushes (black handle with red brand)
#8 or #10 Round brush for softening edges
Rigger or script Brush
Drawing paper, tracing paper, pencils ( I use .05 mechanical pencil)
Magic Rub and Kneadable eraser
All regular watercolor supplies including palette, paper towels, kleenex (no lotion type), water containers and wash cloth for absorbing water and paint.
Professional Artist grade paints.
You can use your own favorite colors
The following are Winsor Newton Colors I have on my palette:
French Ultramarine Blue
New Gamboge Yellow
Perm Alizarin Crimson
Raw Umber and
I also occasionally use Holbein Opera, Winsor Red and Vermillion.
Daniel Smith’s Buff is excellent when painting blonde hair.
