Creative Nonfiction or narrative nonfiction are true stories well told. In this writing workshop we’ll strive to tell the truth in 750 words or less. We’ll discuss how creative nonfiction uses elements from fiction and sometimes poetry and include some time for Q and A. Then students will spend the rest of the workshop writing short pieces. Bring your writing ideas to experiment with as you learn to write short but meaningful nonfiction in this informative workshop. Bring a sack or a snack and we’ll play with words during lunch.
