BOB MAKSYMKOW Tenor Sax & Clarinet
Former director, UWF Jazz Ensemble. D.I.P., clarinet, the Juilliard School. Clarinet studies with Leon Russianoff and Augustin Duques; saxophone/flute studies with Joe Allard. B.A. and M.A., the University of West Florida. Performances throughout the NY Catskill resort area and the greater New York City area as a college student. Solo jazz saxophonist in Air Force Bands worldwide with concerts throughout Europe, North Africa, the Carribean, Mexico, Canada and all US state capitals during a 22-year career.

 

Bill Garrett Guitar & Vocals
Bill is native of the area, and has played music all of his adult life. He came from a musical family and had the good fortune to play with many excellent musicians during his formative years. Bill sings and performs solo and with combos on guitar and bass and has played all over the Southeast.

 

TIM JACKSON Bass, Brass
Tim Jackson received his Masters degree from Northeast Missouri State, Bachelors degree from the University of Southern Mississippi, and studied for one year at the Vandercook College of Music in Chicago, IL. Culminating his New Orleans residence was an appointment to the World’s Fair Big Band and a stint with world renowned artist Pete Fountain. On the Gulf Coast, he has performed with The Mobile Symphony, The Pensacola Symphony, and The Rosie O’Grady’s Jazz Band. Jackson is presently a member of the music faculty at Pensacola State College and shares his experience as a performer and entertainment consultant via Prime Time Entertainment.
