Overview
Santa Fe Sushi – Wired Stones
Create unusual art jewelry with a technique devised by Mary Waterloo Smith. Copper wires thread through and wrap around beads of gemstone, glass, wood, etc. to make individual design components. These will be used independently as pendants, or will be wired and/or linked together to create necklaces or bracelets. Unlike traditional wire wrapping, this is a very forgiving technique and imperfections are part of the art. All skill levels are encouraged to participate.
