You can purchase a 25 lb block of clay on the first day of class for $30. Various tools and kits are available for purchase and community tools are available for use.
Pottery supply list:
Basic pottery tool kit (available at ESAC $15),

soft plastic to cover work in progress.
Open Studio Hours
Fridays: 10 am to 4 pm
Saturdays: 10 am to 6 pm
Maria Spies
Instructor
Maria Spies ESAC Director of Pinewood Studios Award-winning ceramic artist and nationally recognized instructor Maria Spies is beloved by ESAC students and collectors. An independent studio potter since 1973, Spies has been an instructor at ESAC since 2008, and has taught and managed ceramics programs in Dallas, Texas; Seattle, Washington; and Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. Her work is represented in many galleries throughout the country, as well as in private collections and corporate offices.
