Overview
This creative art journaling class for beginners will teach you the basic steps to creating an aesthetically pleasing space for the written word.
This class aims to inspire you to create freely and infuse your journaling practice with fresh creativity. Any written word such as poems, bible verses, favorite quote, or any daily journaling can be used in this class and no experience is required!
Creative Journaling with Andrea Jackson

Andrea Jackson
Instructor
Andrea Jackson is an artist that specializes in acrylic painting, paper crafts, creative journaling, and mindfulness art. She has been teaching art in a classroom setting for over 15 years working with mostly 12-18 years old but has worked with people of all ages throughout the years. Andrea is a native to Fairhope that has just relocated back to the area after being gone for almost 20 years and claims lots has changed since the 90’s! She says that her biggest achievement so far was partnering with her church and local recreational centers to end violence in impoverished neighborhoods by offering a creative outlet through a traveling art and literacy bus called The LAB. As an artist, she believes that art can be used as a tool to communicate thoughts and feelings and most of her classes center on the art process, not the final look.
Refund Policy
- A $25 fee will be charged for all class refunds due to a withdrawal. Refunds will be given up to seven (7) days prior to class start date. Thereafter, no refunds will be given, unless the ESAC cancels the class.
- A $75 fee will be charged for all workshop refunds due to a withdrawal. Refunds will be given up to one (1) month prior to the workshop start date. Thereafter, norefunds will be given, unless the ESAC cancels the workshop.
