Members’ Sales Gallery


Offers members at artist level membership or above the opportunity to display and sell their work at the Eastern Shore Art Center.


Each Artist Level Member (or above) may submit one piece. The artwork is on display for a two-month period. Artwork should not exceed 30″ in any direction for display. Works MUST be framed or gallery wrapped, wired and ready for hanging. Artwork will not be accepted if it has been previously displayed in the Art Center’s Members’ Gallery. Artwork must have been created within the last 2 years.


If the artwork is sold during this period, ESAC will notify the artist and it may be replaced with a new piece. A commission of 30% of the selling price will be charged for any item sold from the Members’ Sales Gallery. Any unsold work from the outgoing sales gallery must be picked up on the day of change out.  Artist members will incur a $3/day storage fee for any pieces that remain by closing on the Wednesday following change out.


Artwork MUST be submitted on the date of take in.  Once the show has been hung, late entries will not be accepted.  Due to limited space, we will accept art on a first come basis. Artwork will be accepted from 9am to 2pm on the following dates:

June 24, 2022 

August 26, 2022 

October 28, 2022 (Same day as Open Show drop-off)

December 30, 2022

Members’ Juried Show: March 4-April 29, 2022


The Members’ Juried Show showcases various work from the Artist Level members of the Eastern Shore Art Association. The display will take place in our Whiting Gallery. Artist Members are able to submit 3 original works done in any media, including painting, photography, pottery and more.


Entry Date: Entries will be received Saturday, February 26 between 10 am and 4 pm. Due to a shortage of storage space, works cannot be accepted before this date. One piece $25, second piece $10 and third piece $10. Notification of acceptance into the show will be done via email by Tuesday, March 1. Work not accepted into the show can be picked up Wednesday, March 2 or Thursday, March 3 between 10 am and 4 pm.

Awards/Reception: Awards will be given out during Art Walk, March 4 at 6:30 pm.
Best In Show: $500 First Place: $300 Second Place: $200 Awards of Merit (3): $100 each

Members’ Open Show: November 5 – December 30, 2021


This annual exhibit showcases various work from Artist Level members and above of the Eastern Shore Art Association. The display will take place in our Whiting Gallery. Artists are encouraged to enter ONE original work done in any media. Works should not exceed 40 inches in any direction including frame. No theme.

Artist must be current on Artist Level Membership dues to apply.

Applications may be submitted at any time throughout the year via email only. Applicants will receive an email notifying whether or not their inventory has been accepted at least two weeks before dates below.

All ACCEPTED inventory may be dropped off on the following dates: February 26, April 30, June 25, August 27, October 29, December 17

Inventory will be labeled and displayed by ESAC staff before the following First Friday. ESAC will retain a 40% sales commission on sold pieces. Please attach high-resolution images for ESAC staff to jury.
