“Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to help us make a difference in children’s lives. We hosted Santa Ernest Berger of Santa America, Inc. for children to meet and have pictures made with him. We received a lot of donations to go to the children in the Panama City area who were impacted by Hurricane Michael. Santa America, an organization for helping others, was pleased to team up with us to bring love, hope and joy to those children in crisis. We collected coloring books, crayons, markers, sketch books and art supplies. Fairhope High School students from Lynda Williams’ Art Club, Eebie Cheshire, Janie Stone, Cheryl Boyce, and Catherine Adkins made it all flow smoothly in active art stations and the visit with Santa. Don’t forget the awesome cookie decorating activity set up by Adrienne Clow!
I can tell you all of the above deserve to be on the Good List for Santa! We will still be collecting donations for a while longer as we set up our time to deliver to Panama City. All of those silent angels who left bags of donations on my doorknob, or checks awaiting for us to spend on the project, you are deeply appreciated too.”
